Why is winter so mysteriously seductive?

Landscapes in winter become devoid of brilliant colors......or do they? On the one hand warm months give us pinks and yellows, oranges and greens. On the other, winter allow us to contemplate in variations of blues. And what a joy it is to have this symphony in blue.
The cold winter's day in Central Park is immediately recognizable; we've all been there, or can certainly imagine what it's like. The crisp smell of newly fallen snow, the cold resonating from the pond and the city streets beyond.
Let's take a stroll over the bridge, and find new magic in blue and white of the snow and paths of Central Park.
